Live Malayalam interpretation for your event, on every phone

Malayalam is official in Kerala, and Baian supports it only for the audience. Live Malayalam interpretation can be heard or read, but the presenter must speak another supported language.

How far behind the speaker?About 2.4 seconds with Baian. Lower is better.

Planning your event

What should you plan for?

Malayalam audiences from Kerala

Kerala’s government names Malayalam as the state’s official language. The Government of India also includes Malayalam in the Constitution’s Eighth Schedule.

Delegates from Kerala may need this translation even when presentations are in another language. Record their chosen translation separately from the presenter’s language: Baian supports Malayalam for the audience only.

മലയാളം translation, with buttons in English

The language button reads മലയാളം. Selecting it provides translated audio or text in that language, while the remaining listener interface is in English. Explain the buttons in English to attendees who need help joining, and identify മലയാളം as their translation choice.

The presenter cannot speak Malayalam into Baian

Choose another supported spoken language for the presentation: Baian cannot translate from Malayalam speech. If a proposed speaker intends to present in Malayalam, the audience channel does not meet that requirement. Resolve the stage-language choice before finalising the programme.
