QIYADA · Doha · 25 and 26 September 2026
QIYADA chose Baian for live interpretation.
At Qatar Foundation's QIYADA conference on 25 and 26 September 2026, attendees followed Arabic and English translation through a Baian QR code on their phones.
A two-day event without interpreter booths.
Baian's event team confirms that QIYADA used Baian instead of its previous human-interpreter setup. The booths were taken down, and no translation headsets were distributed.
Baian began with Friday sermons. It follows the speaker’s context and matches recognised Qur’an quotations to their surah and ayah (chapter and verse), using stored translations where available.
For a conference, the next step is practical: try your speakers’ audio and your audience’s languages before booking.

The sound system fed Baian through a laptop with a suitable audio connection and internet. Attendees scanned a QR code and selected a language in their phone browser. No dedicated receiver was needed.
