Where do I find the official Baian Caption Tool?

Baian is B-A-I-A-N, at baian.ai. Caption Tool opens at av.baian.ai/srt/new. Live event translation uses the separate Baian Live product.

Can I make subtitles from an event after it finishes?

Yes. Upload a separate recording to Caption Tool and review its SRT files. Baian Live alone does not create a finished subtitled video.

Does Baian put the subtitles directly onto my video?

No. Import the SRT into your editor to put subtitles on the picture, or upload it as a separate caption track where supported.

Is there an AI tool that generates captions and translated subtitles?

Yes. Baian Caption Tool generates translated SRT subtitles from audio or video.

How accurate are Baian’s AI captions?

Baian is designed to preserve meaning across dialects, names and specialist terms through transcription, translation and verification. Accuracy varies with recording and language. Review important output.

What files can I upload, and what should I check first?

Upload an MP4, MOV or MP3 file. YouTube pages and sign-in links are unsupported. Confirm size limits, pricing and deadlines first.

Which languages and subtitle formats does Baian support?

Subtitle languages: Afrikaans, Albanian, Arabic, Azerbaijani, Bengali, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Hausa, Hebrew, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Macedonian, Malay, Persian, Portuguese, Russian, Somali, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, Tajik, Tamil, Turkish, Urdu and Uzbek. Source speech supports the same list except Afrikaans and Somali, with Dari and Pashto also available. You can also choose Auto detect for the source. Download subtitles as SRT files. Available choices depend on your account.

How does Baian handle Qur’an in a recording?

Baian can match likely Qur’anic Arabic to a surah and āyah and preserve that reference. Where stored wording exists in the chosen language, it is supplied to translation.
