Live Bengali interpretation for your event, on every phone

Planning your event

What should you plan for?

Bangladesh and West Bengal delegates

Bangladesh’s constitution names Bangla as the state language. Bengali appears in the Eighth Schedule of India’s Constitution. West Bengal Police’s demographics page lists Bengali and English as the state’s official languages.

When bringing these audiences together, ask delegates whether they want Bengali translation. They may need it even when the stage programme is in English or Arabic.

বাংলা opens Bengali choices

The language selection is labelled বাংলা. The next screen asks “আপনি কিভাবে যোগ দিতে চান?” and has শুনুন for listening and পড়ুন for reading. The listener interface stays in the selected language, including the choice of how to follow the translation.

Presentations that include Bengali speech

Presenters can also speak Bengali. If a presenter uses Bengali and English in the same session, enable Multiple spoken languages at the start; attendees can keep their chosen translation as the speaking language changes.
